Overview
For agencies managing multiple clients, connecting their LinkedIn accounts to SalesMind is a crucial step. SalesMind offers three methods for onboarding clients, each designed to balance speed, control, and flexibility depending on your workflow.
Option 1: Onboarding with Client Involvement
This is the simplest and fastest way to onboard a client.
Steps:
Use or create a new agent in SalesMind for the client.
Invite the client as a member of the agent.
Navigate to your Agent and open the Members tab.
Click Add Member.
Enter your teammate’s email address.
Choose their role (Admin or Member).
Admin: Can delete lists, accounts, and campaigns.
Member: Has standard permissions but cannot delete.
Confirm by clicking Add Member.
Your teammate will receive an email invitation to join.
Ask the client to log in to LinkedIn and install the SalesMind Chrome extension.
Download the extension from the provided link.
Once installed, you’ll see the SalesMind icon in your browser toolbar.
The client adds their LinkedIn account as a new sender in the agent.
To Link Your LinkedIn Account;
Open the extension and log in to your LinkedIn account.
SalesMind retrieves your LinkedIn cookie session (including LinkedIn.com and Sales Navigator if available).
This allows SalesMind to perform actions as if you were using LinkedIn directly.
To add a new sender;
Navigate to Agents tab.
Click "Add new sender button
Click "Connect"
Once saved, the connection is complete.
Key Benefits:
Takes less than 10 minutes.
The client gains access to SalesMind, helping them stay connected and automatically re-authenticated if needed.
Best For: Agencies working with clients who want visibility and involvement in their campaigns.
Option 2: Brandless Connection (No Client Access)
This method keeps the client out of SalesMind while still enabling their LinkedIn account to be connected.
Steps:
Create a new agent in SalesMind.
Ask the client to install the brandless Chrome extension.
The client copies the integration JSON data from the extension and sends it back to you.
As the agency, you go to Add New Sender > Via JSON and paste the data to connect their account.
You can also connect SalesMind by using "Proxy." It can help to route activity through your own IP address to maintain a consistent digital footprint and ensure proprietary account security.
To connect with Proxy;
Navigate to Agents tab.
Click "Add new sender" button
Click the platform icon
Fill all the required fields.
Scroll down till you find the "Network section"
Enter your "Proxy Host, Proxy Port, Proxy User and Proxy Password" in the respective boxes.
Key Benefits:
The client does not need access to SalesMind.
The agency retains full control over campaigns and activity.
Best For: Agencies managing campaigns independently without client involvement.
Option 3: White-Label Setup
In this method, the agency offers SalesMind under their own brand.
Steps:
Decide whether to give the client direct access or manage everything yourself.
If giving access: Invite the client to the white-labeled platform, and they follow the same steps as Option 1.
If not giving access: Use the brandless extension method from Option 2, but under your agency’s branding.
Key Benefits:
Provides a fully branded experience for your agency.
Flexibility to either involve the client or keep full control.
Best For: Agencies offering a white-label solution or managing multiple clients under their own brand.
