My Account Has Been Disconnected

Learn why your LinkedIn account may disconnect from SalesMind AI and how to quickly reconnect it.

If your campaigns show as “Disconnected,” it means SalesMind AI no longer has access to your LinkedIn account. When this happens, no outreach or activities will run until you reconnect.


1. Why You Were Disconnected

The most common reasons are:

  • Expired cookie session - LinkedIn periodically ends sessions for security.

  • Logged out of LinkedIn - Signing out of LinkedIn also ends the SalesMind AI session.


2. How to Reconnect

  1. Go to your Campaigns page. You will see campaigns marked as Disconnected.

  2. Click on any disconnected campaign.

  3. Make sure you’re logged into both LinkedIn and SalesMind AI in the same browser where the SalesMind AI browser extension is installed.

  4. Click Save to refresh your session.

👉 You should see the message “Your LinkedIn account has been updated successfully.”


3. What Happens Next

  • Within about a minute, your account will reconnect.

  • Campaigns will resume automatically.

  • Activities will be sent normally again.


4. If Your LinkedIn Account Is Restricted (Banned)

Sometimes LinkedIn may temporarily restrict or limit accounts for security or activity review.
If this happens, SalesMind AI cannot reconnect until LinkedIn restores access.


How to Appeal Your Restriction

If you see a message inside LinkedIn saying your account is restricted, temporarily suspended, or under review, don’t panic - this can happen when LinkedIn flags automated or unusual activity.
