If you're managing an agent in SalesMind AI, you can add new senders (team members) to expand your outreach capabilities. This is done through a simple JSON-based connection process that securely links their LinkedIn account to your agent without requiring them to have direct access to SalesMind.
How to Add a New Sender
Option 1: Direct Chrome Extension Connection (Recommended)
Use this method if:
You don't have the SalesMind Chrome Extension, or
You're adding your own LinkedIn account, or
The team member is present to complete the connection
1. Download the Cookie Getter Chrome Extension
Important: Use Google Chrome (not other browsers).
2. Open the Extension And Copy Your Connection Code
Copy the code that appears—this is your unique connection token.
3. Go to Your Agent's Senders Tab
In SalesMind AI, navigate to your agent workspace and click the "Senders" tab.
4. Click 'Add new Sender'
Click the "Add new Sender" button in the top-right corner.
5. Select 'Connect via JSON'
Choose the "Connect via JSON" option and paste the connection code you copied from the extension.
6. Save Changes
Click "Save Changes" in the bottom right corner. The new sender will now appear in your senders list and be ready to use for campaigns.
Option 2: Team Member Sends You the Code
Use this method if a team member doesn't have direct access to SalesMind. They generate the connection code and send it to you:
Team Member Installs the Extension
They download the Chrome Extension on their browser.
2. Team Member Copies Their Connection Code
From the extension, they locate and copy their unique connection code. They send this code to you (via email, Slack, or your preferred method).
3. You Add Them as a Sender
In your agent workspace, go to Senders → Click "Add new Sender" → Select "Connect via JSON" → Paste their code.
4. Save and Activate
Click "Save Changes" in the bottom right corner. The team member is now added as a sender to your agent and can start being used in campaigns.

Team members who provide their connection code do not need direct access to SalesMind AI. As the agent owner, you manage their connection entirely. This secure method protects your workspace while allowing team members to use their LinkedIn accounts for outreach.

Troubleshooting

The sender shows as 'Disconnected' after adding?
Ensure the team member still has the Chrome extension installed and enabled. If they uninstall or disable it, the connection will drop. They can reconnect by repeating the process.
